California Rainbows, then Back to Maine 12 Years, 7 Months ago  
Got out to California, my old home, from Maine where I've been for a while. On this trip, I managed to figure out how to nymph for rainbows north of Redding:



I made it east of Shasta, too, and near Ah-Di-Nah, managed a few of the fabled rainbows, though nothing too big:



Back in Maine, my new home, we managed to entice some landlocked salmon to our nets north of Bangor. If you're going to Grand Lake Stream, you should stay at Weatherby's:



People on this forum helped me get started fishing again in California and I really appreciate it!

Thanks for the report, been wanting to get over that way but work keeps getting in the
way...How were the flows ? They looked a bit high last time I checked.
