where is red-hot in WY/ID/ WA/OR or CO? 12 Years, 7 Months ago
Howdy All-
It's been almost a decade since I was on this forum! Nice to see plenty of the old names. Had to re-register, but my handle (my last name) was still available, which is cool. I used to post all the time, but unfortunately with family and life fishing has become a distant hobby. So why the blast from the past? I have a rare opportunity this weekend... a friend with a plane has offered to take 4 of us anywhere for fishing. My go-to spots in WY, and ID aren't exactly red-hot, and I'm so out of the loop (ha ha pun not intended) that I'm having trouble identify the water that has a extremely high probability of being epic THIS WEEKEND.
The only real criteria is that we need to drift (not wade) and we need enough water for a two-day float.

Anyone heard of a river that is on fire right now? The Green in WY has cooled a bit, and Henry's fork is so-so, South Fork Snake is supposedly good-not-great, Snake blown out, Teton is too high, Madison kinda slow. Help!

Any input welcome and I will follow up with the local fly-shops. thanks, Duncan
