Not sure about Clear Lake. I did see them on Hidden Valley a few years ago. (For Doug Hidden Valley is a private lake of about 100 acres close to clear Lake). Due to my wife's health I haven't been venturing very far over the last couple of years. She's been better lately. We did just get back from a trip up to Packer Lake. Fished the N.F. Yuba and a couple of other small creeks in the area. If there is a hex hatch at Clear Lake I think it would happen earlier in the year than at Almanor due to the lower elevation. So Charlie, how's the grandparenting going? Mike Borba
