Maybe a spent or an adult. I can see doing something similar for other caddis.
I hit one of the rivers that has these last weekend and got to see them for the first time. Fish were a bit shy or educated or pressured but each of us managed a handful over the weekend. Takes on dries were generally quick after the fly had landed and toward evening. (used a stimi or chernobyl ant with a dropper as well)
