Ok, I know it is a late report but I just got time due to lots of distractions like my daughter's wedding next week.

We didn't spend anywhere near as much time in Montana as we wanted to but the last day and the last fish for me was a very pretty cutthroat. Special because in the 5 years fishing this river I have only caught 2 others and they were in the 8" range. This one was around 14". Fishing was tough after the beating they took in July with all of the people and changes in the water level.

Hey Phil, almost all of the fish on this trip were caught on that little dippity you gave us the first year. You know the one with the brown quil body. That was one hot fly.

Dennis accusses me of never posting any pictures of his fish but I am never around with the camera when he catches the really big ones.

We really need to get up to Montana with no other obligations than just fishing!

Dennis and I really missed getting together with you this year. We will have to make a point of it next year. Most of the people that I know that fish the river on a regular basis have not caught a cutthroat. It is obvious that they are around because I have gotten lots of cutbows. I guess this was just my lucky year becuase I caught two this summer.
