It seem like the "Read" vs. "Unread" icons are the exact opposite from what they should be.

Shouldn't an unread thread have an unopened envelope, and a read thread have an opened envelope?

Just asking...

Read vs. Not Read 17 Years, 2 Months ago  
Yeah - the "new" versus "not new" aspect of things kind of bugs me. I like the way the old board flags the posts - seems pretty straight forward. This new board has a few bugs in it (like what Dawn mentioned with the posts reverting back to "un-read" after logging out and then logging back in). We'll get this fixed as we move along!

I agree with the envelope thing - perhaps we can find a new icon that is better? If you (or anyone else) finds a better icon to use than the envelope - we can use that instead.

I'll see what I can find.

Often, the best ones are color coded (like the ones on the old board).
Color is a usually faster indicator than pattern.

I agree! Yeah, if you were to find something better that would be great.

By the way - was looking at your profile - congrats on the start of the rod building site!
