I Thinkthis is a bug, but it may be a design feature. Just another thing to add to the list.

Today I got three or four separate notifications of responses to a post, all without me looking at the responses. It seems as though I used to only get one e-mail, until I looked at the post, then I would get another if someone else posted.
Not a big deal, I just delete the e-mails, and hit the board, but it seems like a BUG!!!

just confirming. Today, while I was off line, I got notifications of responses to "The Emforcer" at 10:09, 11:38, 11:43, 12:01,12:03, 1:27, 1:30, and 2:17.

Not that there is anything WRONG with that, unless it costs money.....

I've noticed the same thing. It seems some (not all) of the threads that I open will automatically "subscribe" me to the thread so if it turns out to be a substantially long thread with many responses, I could end up receiving LOTS of email notifications in a very short time. The only way I found is to "unsubscribe" to the thread.
